As a sound recording engineer Ryan works as the jazz and location specialist at Headline Creative Studios. He graduated from the prestigious Tonmeister course at Surrey University and has since gained experience in the industry from working in a variety of studios, film post-production houses/dubbing theaters, and on location.

Ryan has a number of film credits to his name from working at Clarity Post Production Sound including assistant dubbing mixer on Enduring Love and Oh Happy Day. He has worked on a number of television projects including the BBC’s adaption of the Canterbury Tales and the first series of Channel 4′s Shameless.

At Headline Studios he has been key in expanding the range of recording projects at the studio as well as heading up the location branch of the studio.

Over the past year Ryan has engineered sessions from jazz and blues groups to scottish harp and horn sections.
